Several years ago, when I was an Architecture student, we were given an assignment to redevelop the old Ogilvie Mills ruins into low-income housing. A few adventurous friends of mine wanted to get a sense of the space inside the ruins, so I tagged along.
I guess this is really the only "urban exploration" I've ever done. It was scary (I almost plummeted to my death at one point through a hole in the floor), but it was very fun. And now that Ogilvie Mills is gone I'm very grateful I did it.
This shot was taken from the bridge that joined the silos with the main building.
