Huh? It's been five years? Only seems like four and a half.
But it really has been five years. And I've enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks to everyone who visits on a regular (or even semi-regular) basis, and especially to those of you who leave comments. I always enjoy reading your feedback.
I've got exciting news coming in the next little while, but for now, here's a look back at the last five years. To date, I've posted roughly 4,000 images to the blog, and the early photo above of Assiniboine Park is still one of the most popular of the lot—according to Flickr's mysterious "interestingness" algorithm.
If you're looking to kill some time this afternoon, here's a link to the top 500 Winnipeg Love Hate images from the last five years:
The Winnipeg Love Hate Top 500.
And one final note. I've been pretty quiet lately as far as commentary goes, but that tends to go in waves. Perhaps there will be more in the future. For now, all I can promise is to keep on bringing you the best Winnipeg photos that I can.

Happy Blogoversary, Bryan, and may you enjoy many more!
Congrats on year 5. It's a long time in blog years. Many have come and gone since we started.
Your pictures don't lie, Bryan, I can clearly recognize Winnipeg in all its guts and glory; there is a transformation that happens when viewed through your images. As if by magic you give us a city infused with romance. Now that's vision and art. Thanks.
Best, Valerie

Oh and meant to say how beautiful that photo is!
Brian! I haven't been on your blog in years, so I was really happy to find that you continue to update it with your amazing work. You make me proud to be a Winnipegger. Am I able to purchased your book anywhere in the city? Anyways, congratulations on your blog's aniversary! To many more!
